FAQ

  •  Why join MGS?

Sure, one can join for the intellectual stimulation members provide - internationally. But our objective is beyond interpersonal communication. Our goal is to form a progressive think tank of bright individuals who can work together to create a society like no other, and eventually influence other groups to follow suit in their formulation, boldness, and novelty. Vanity societies pop up like weeds in fields of beautiful flowers. We encourage everyone to yank up the weeds and replace them with floral seeds of creativity, solidarity, and most importantly - g and genius!

  •  What makes you different from the rest of the HIQ world?

Our mission and what you offer us. What good is latent ability if it is always subjugated? Dream and then act out loud. We are a society that will work with you to not only showcase your talents but maximize them, potentially bringing you closer to self-actualization and greater happiness. I make no promises in this regard; nevertheless, we are providing you with a unique opportunity to work together with us, in all your genius, to make a difference - the world o'er.

  •  Can I be expelled from MGS?

No, you cannot. Life is very unforgiving to many, but we are very forgiving to all. You may, however, under extreme circumstances, be disallowed participation in activities and discussion. If you would like to withdraw membership (non-refundable) from the society, you may.

There is a clear caveat, however. Those who exhibit gross misconduct, as deemed by our democratic leaders, will not be expelled, but may, in fact, be unable to participate in select activities organized by MGS in the future. These individuals will be privately reprimanded if said behavioral codes have been consistently breached.

  •  I took x test and scored y which is <n than you require for membership. Can I  still join?

How ambitious and inquisitive. How aspiring! Sadly, you cannot. But you are more than welcome to keep practising and honing your g. There is no set limit on how many times you may apply, but you may only submit 2 scores per test for admissions. For instance, if you score 137 on one of Dr. Betts' IQ  tests, and then you make a second attempt on the same test yielding 158, then you are qualified therein. But you may NOT, for instance, submit one score report from Dr. Greg Grove's SPIT with a score of 124, 133, and ultimately 152  and expect to gain admission. That final score's admissibility is invalid.

  •  I took x test and scored y which is >n than you require for membership. Can I  still join?

You might be able to join. Some tests are not Culture-Fair and/or are given to selected populations. If you took a supervised IQ test in your country that you do not see represented on our homepage, you may send me an email inquiry with your score report, and our team will respond within 72 hours of receipt of its validity. If we deem the test valid, not only will you be eligible to join, but the test will be subsequently added to our list of globally admissible scores.
