Congratulations! Our 2013 MGY will be elected soon and the MGY for 2014, around New Years. Our 4th anniversary will be May 13, 2015.
MGS Reaches Its Goal of 15 Members

We did it!
It took some time, but we finally reached 15 members. We will be tentatively having our first round table the first week of March. This will begin with a questionnaire to our founding members, followed by a continuation on the direction and established leadership positions and objectives of our society.
Congratulations to all who joined early. You will reap the fruits of your initiative.

Adding yourself to the member directory here will not get you a free ticket into the society. You must follow the same directives as everyone else; no exemptions. There are no uninvited members here, and there is no backdoor process, either. I have noted a few names of people in the HIQ world who have tried to sign up to become members of MGS without following the protocol for membership. If I, or my VP, see your names again, you will be permanently banned from application or entry in the future. Please, do not attempt to be duplicitous. Take this as your first and last alert.
MGS approaches 15 members!

It has taken some time, and with little promotion I might add, we have started to approach member 15. Once we reach member 15, I will delegate responsibilities to each one of you to help our collective not only grow exponentially, but also to assist in the redefinition of the IQ society today.
First, the word society itself is becoming quite the banal tagline. It is a given that we are a society, but what else are we? With the burgeoning popularity of social networking sites like Twitter and facebook, we have seen our forum presences take nosedives each month. We come to expect a journal or pamphlet from an IQ society today...But isn't that too humdrum? Why do we expect a journal? Is that the best we can do as a group? Not only do I beg to differ, but I importune to as well. We are in the 21st century. Our forebears have established systems that work, but haven't some of the modes in which we operate in our intellectual cadres become a bit outmoded to you?
That's what we're here for. Each member here will take part in the progression of modernity with regard to IQ "societies." Our own appellation, MGS, includes the word society, but it will be dropped once we establish ourselves as a dynamic entity, scintillatingly unique from the rest of the world. This cannot be accomplished singularly. Together, as a "society," we must work to achieve this. You are the think tank. We are the think tank. And we will move the intelligentsia forward.

The Creation of MGS

Today, May 13, 2011, MGS is born!
Once we reach 15 members, leadership positions will be chosen and further responsibilities will be delegated. Upon success, a think tank will also be formed, and from there on out, not even the sky will limit us. Our mission is to redefine the High IQ world, one step at a time.
Please note, however, that our society is exclusive; not everyone who applies will qualify.
